I started working full-time at Gap in January, but today was the start of the banana festival in my village and I had the day off so I finally took an assignment. I was most surprised by the dance groups and a man named Lemi Pau, a fire dancer from American Samoa who lived in Ohio a few years before I was born. Basically it was a lot of fun, but I didn't eat any bananas. Oh well!

Error 99
It's definitely my own fault but my camera got a little damp this morning while I was working on this assignment with Joe Pruski, water sportsman extraordinaire. He's been married to his wife, Cyndy, for 46 years and they moved to Guam from Hawaii in 1969. I wish I could've spent more time out there but I was basically underwater.
Also, ouch @rocks.
Hopefully we can fix my camera because, question mark.

Troubleshooting
I've started freelancing for the Pacific Daily News and so far, it's been pretty great. Everyone I've met has been really friendly and welcoming, especially during the election, one of my first assignments. It was a very big day for the community; work and school are essentially cancelled so everyone can vote, celebrate and campaign at their leisure. Also, even though their votes didn't count in the presidential election, I wanted to post the results just because I think it should matter a little more than it does.
PRESIDENTIAL POLL
Obama-Biden 23,067
Romney-Ryan 8,443
Johnson-Gray 357
